Ich war Freitag in Regensburg sowohl bei Media Markt als auch bei Saturn. Media Markt führte das Album unter Platz 48, Saturn unter 49…

Wäre das nicht eigentlich der geeignete Augenblick für die Plattenfirma, eine DVD oder eine 2nd Edition in Deutschland anzukündigen?
Dann aber diesmal mit ordentlicher Radio-Promotion in Deutschland:wink:
Ich finde es zwar grundsätzlich positiv, dass die EAV nicht mehr bei Carmen Nebel oder in irgendwelchen komischen Frühstückssendungen auftritt, aber dass in Deutschland so gut wie gar keine PR gemacht wurde, ist auch seltsam. Anstatt irgendwelche Blogger ins Boot zu holen, die für ein paar Euro jeden Pressetext posten, könnte man doch mal die interessanten Medien angehen: In den Redaktionen von Intro, Visions und Spex finden sich doch bestimmt noch ein paar alteingesessene bzw. ehemalige EAV-Fans. Diedrich Diederichsen hat in den 70ern z.B. mal über die EAV berichtet - solche Edelfedern mit EAV-Bezug wird es doch noch irgendwo geben…
Eigentlich sehe ich es so, dass von Seiten der Plattenfirma gar nichts für das neue Album gemacht wurde. Jegliche Aktion ging direkt von der EAV aus und die Platte hat sich über die sehr guten Kritiken und letztlich die Fanarbeit und die Tour sehr gut verkauft. Mit mehr Promotion im Fernsehen und im Radio (gerade bei Radio Gong hatte man immer mal Erfolg in Bayern) hätte es das Album sicher länger in den Charts ausgehalten.
Ich bin ja an sich kein Fan von einer 2nd Edition, aber natürlich würde ich sie mir als Fan holen. Ob das das Album in die Charts zurückbringt, bezweifle ich eher.
